Texas has been ranked the most business-friendly state in a recent study by Thumbtack and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Forbes reported. Texas and Utah both received an “A+.” The study called these states an “oasis” for new business ventures, citing them as launch pads for the next Facebook, Apple or Procter & Gamble. Texas, in fact, had three of the top five “business friendly” cities on the list, including Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin. (1/10/13)
