Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano opened in 2004 and carries forward over a century of healthcare experience as part of the Baylor Health Care System. The 350,000-square-foot hospital provides an upscale, elegant atmosphere with 128 inpatient beds in larger-than-average hospital rooms. Children’s Medical Center Legacy celebrated its opening in 2008, is Plano’s newest hospital. Part of the Children’s Medical Center system, this private, not-for-profit organization is one of the largest pediatric healthcare providers in the nation, dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

Children's Medical Center Legacy provides world-class service to the growing number of families through Plano, Collin County and all of North Texas. The medical staff includes specialists from Children’s Dallas and UT Southwestern, providing a vast base of talent and knowledge. Designed with room to grow, the facility features 72 medical/surgical beds, operating rooms, full-service diagnostics including CT and MRI and an emergency care center. The campus sits on a 155-acre site with "green space" preserved to provide an environment of healing and tranquility for patients and families.

Medical Center of Plano is a full-service, 427-bed acute-care facility with more than 1,300 employees and over 900 physicians on staff, representing over 70 specialties and subspecialties. The main campus in the heart of Plano includes the main hospital and medical offices, an outpatient surgery center, a comprehensive cancer-treatment center, an emergency trauma center, a radiology/imaging center, a comprehensive cardiovascular program, the Center for Lifestyle Enhancement, and complete women's and children's services including a high-risk antepartum unit and a neonatal intensive-care unit.

Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Medical Center of Plano continued its legacy of firsts in 2007 by becoming the first hospital in Collin County to achieve elite Magnet recognition from the American Nurse's Association.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, a member of Texas Health Resources, is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare facility. Opened in 1991, the hospital continues to grow to meet the demands of the increasing populations in Plano and neighboring cities. With 368 private rooms, the facility is staffed with nearly 1,300 physicians in more than 67 specialties, providing services that score highly in overall patient satisfaction scores. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency care services, an intensive care unit, a cardiovascular institute, and an open-heart surgery center, as well as orthopedic and neuroscience services, and more.

THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano is the first and only freestanding, full-service hospital in the region dedicated solely to heart and vascular health care. It employs 645.  Created through a partnership between Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and 86 cardiovascular physicians and surgeons practicing in North Texas, the hospital offers medical quality combined with five-star service. Each of the 68 suites is a large, private room that can be quickly converted into a cardiac intensive care environment.

In addition to comprehensive inpatient and outpatient guest care, THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano features a cardiac emergency department, advanced imaging department with a 64-slice CT scanner, on-site cardiac rehabilitation, operating suites, an endovascular suite, a post-anesthesia recovery unit, electrophysiology labs and cardiac catheterization labs.

Texas Back Institute Plano offers the most academic private practice in spinal care and is the largest freestanding multidisciplinary academic spine center in the world. The Texas Department of State Health Services named Medical Center of Plano a Level III Trauma Center. Medical Center Plano is the first and only designated trauma center in Collin County.  Additionally, the Medical Center of Plano is the first hospital in Collin, Dallas, and Denton Counties to be named a “Comprehensive (Level I) Stroke Facility” by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This distinction recognizes the hospital as the most advanced stroke treatment center in the region.
