The Dallas-Fort Worth metro is performing well in creating clean technology employment or “green jobs” according to a recent study by the Brookings Institute. DFW ranked 10th out of the nation’s 100-largest metros in the study titled Sizing the Clean Economy: A National and Regional Green Jobs Assessment.
The Dallas metroplex added 38,562 clean jobs (1.3 percent of all jobs). As a state, Texas was third in the nation for creating green jobs with 144,081. (7/13/2011)
